St. Mary's Academy Class of 1962 Reunion Site

St. Mary's High School in O'Neill will hold its alumni banquet on June 30, 2012 in O'Neill, Nebraska. The class of honor is the class of 1962! Several classmates are working to organize activities and events for this weekend. This web page is posted to help classmates to connect with each other, and to post/receive information about the reunion.

There are a few things we’re going to ask you to do now, even if you can’t make it to the reunion.

Here’s the status at the moment:
- Class dinner Friday night @ 6:30 PM @ Westside Restaurant in O’Neill, spend the evening visiting. Dick Pongratz will act as host.
- The Westside Restaurant room is available to us on Saturday night after the banquet. However, they will close at 10:00 PM and the banquet will no doubt go until at least 8 to 8:30 so we are exploring alternatives to keep the party going. Ideas are welcome.
- The 50 year class (US!) will act as hosts the 5:00 PM Saturday Alumni Mass at St. Patricks Church in O’Neill. Liturgical Minsters that are needed are Musicians (Pat Drueke has offered to be in charge of the music - needs lots of volunteers to help her!) We need one Lector, 3 EMHC's (if you’re one you will know what that means). Dick Pongratz, and Mary Mlnairk will be part of that too. We need two Greeters to assist Cal and Jane; that should take care of Mass. Please help out if you can.
- The Banquet will be @ 6:30 pm June 30th in the Parish Hall at St. Mary’s in O’Neill. Tickets MUST be purchased ahead of time. There will be a form in The Spirit newsletter that will be coming out “real soon now”. If you aren’t on that mailing list, please let me know.
- We’re looking for someone to be a repersentive of the class and to introduce everyone during the banquet - let me know if you’d like to do that.

- Please update us on what you have been doing since graduation, especially the last 10 years or so. Send us a written page or two by the end of February and we’ll make them available to other classmates.
- If you have something you are particularly proud of (or think may be noteworthy, or if you simply like it), please send pictures, articles, press clippings, etc and we will highlight them on the web (www.smaclassof62.com).
- Please send an email address so that we can provide a means for others to contact you.
- We’ve got the senior (as in 12th grade) pictures on the web now, so take a few minutes and see if you can name all of us.
- If you would care to send a current picture of yourself along, that would be great.
